About us
Nordic Road Music is an independent artist label located in Århus, Denmark. The "artist" part means that we only publish 100% original independent music that is written, produced, performed and released by ourselves, select collaborators and friends. We do not sign nor publish other artists like a record label would.
Our music is played world wide on the radio, on streaming and synchronized in audio-visual productions under IP licences. Our music can be found on national radio, editorial playlists as well as on major TV networks in Denmark, Norway, the UK and the US.
Select music is available for synchronization at our Disco.ac profile Nordic Road Production. Start there, if you are a film maker, media producer, A&R or music supervisor, as you can download the music, try it for your project, and get back to us if you would like to require a license from us. Our terms are transparent and allign with the standard Nordic Sync Model as outlined by the Nordic Copyright Bureau.
When the project is a creative fit, we also do commissions, presentations, partnerships and collaborations. Let us know what you have in mind. Contact info below.
Reservation of rights – AI
It is essential that these innovations safeguard the IP rights of all involved in creating and distributing music and that their rights are respected and licensed specifically in advance.
Without prejudice to any prior rights reservations, Nordic Road Music hereby expressly reaffirms that its rights are fully reserved as set out below. We reaffirm that:
Any past, present or future access, use, copying, reproduction, extraction, distribution or exploitation of any of the works or content (or portion thereof) owned or controlled by Nordic Road Music (including recordings, audiovisual recordings, composition, lyrics, artwork, images, data, metadata, etc.) for the purpose of text and data mining, AI training, development or commercialization of AI systems, tools or technology, web scraping, mining, altering, making extractions, preparing derivative works or similar purposes, and by any means, is prohibited, except as specifically and explicitly authorized by Nordic Road Music. The use of any artist name, image, likeness and voice also requires specific permission.
In the absence of an express advance licence permitting the above uses, we expressly reserve our rights in respect of the use of by Nordic Road Music's content, including without limitation under Article 4 of the EU Directive 2019/790/EC or similar laws in other jurisdictions. Our reservation applies to all content owned or controlled by Nordic Road Music, now or in the future, including where this content may be identified through publicly available means.
We will take the necessary steps to prevent the infringement of our rights.
